What if designing and styling meant nothing more than seeing beauty in ordinary things? Like taking something simple and showcasing its uniqueness for others to enjoy and appreciate--letting things flow naturally in its given space. I believe creativity is about seeing things differently, nothing more nothing less. It is an art form and like any art it takes practice. I noticed it requires us to slow down, observe our surroundings, and have some sense of gratitude. However, sometimes fear of judgement can make the creative process stressful. If we shift our thinking to show beauty instead of perfection, then we give ourselves permission to play and have fun. It becomes less about impressing others and more about sharing what we find beautiful. Have a great weekend friends seeing beauty in ordinary things!
